I was listening to a preacher from the 70’s. He mentioned the sin of Esau.
Hebrews 12:16 "Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright."
We are told that Esau committed fornication. Jude gives us a definition for fornication. That is “going after strange flesh”.
Jude 1:7 "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."
What did Esau do that the scripture calls fornication and going after strange flesh?
Genesis 26:34 "And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite".
We know that this was “a grief of mind unto Isaac and Rebekah”.
Esau married women who were of a forbidden lineage.
1 Kings 11:1 "But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites".
These were forbidden peoples for Israel to intermarry. There were several reasons. They were children of incest. They practiced unlawful sexual practices that affected their ability to have children of a pure lineage. For example, they would set out their women once a year and have them have sexual intercourse with any male. So their lineage was even more corrupt. Because of this they were no longer the same race and they also had many diseases.
Deuteronomy 7:1-4
1 "When Yahweh thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
2 And when Yahweh thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of Yahweh be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly."
Churches today will tell you that the only reason the above marriages were forbidden were as verse 4 of Deuteronomy 7 states,
"For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of Yahweh be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly."
However then, one must ask why did Yahweh not allow marriages with those who would be converted to the Hebrew religion?
As mentioned above, there was more to it than just faith. There was the purity of family lineage and promise. All of God’s Law concerning women and marriage is designed to protect the purity of the family lineage. The list of nations that were forbidden were all children of incest and that the sexual practices of those forbidden nations was an abomination to Yahweh God. They were all very mixed peoples. The promise God made was only to and for Israel only. If the people had mixed themselves with other peoples, then the promise would have died with the last of those of pure lineage.
One must consider that a people who came from incest would still look very much like one’s own people. However, because the children of incest allowed what we would call today free sex, their lineage was corrupted by disease and by foreigners who looked different. Ephraim participated in this sin.
Hosea 7:8 "Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned."
What is a cake not turned? Imagine that you are making pancakes and you forget to flip one. It will be black on one side and white on the other.
Hosea 7:10 "And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face."
Why? Because his face looks noticeably different.
Why is this bad?
Hosea 7:9 "Strangers have devoured his strength."
Ephraim gave his strength, his prodgeny to another people. God’s Law protects His people, true Israel. Going after strange flesh gives one’s strength to other peoples, to those of strange flesh.
This is what happened to Esau. He gave his stregnth to other people. The decendants of Esau are found among today’s Jews. They make up about nine percent of today’s Jews. Today’s Jews are not Israelites.
“Edom is in modern Jewry.”, Jewish Encyclopedia, 1925 edition, Vol. 5, p. 41.
“Edom is the eternal enemy of Israel and Judah.”, Encyclopedia Judaica 1971, 6, column 379.
Genesis 36:1 "Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom."
Esau, who is Edom, is mentioned in scripture by name as one whom God hates. In fact the scripture calls it a perpetual enmity with Esau’s children, who are mixed children.
Exodus 17:16 "For he said, Because Yahweh hath sworn that Yahweh will have war with Amalek from generation to generation."
Why didn’t your preacher teach this? Because he wasn’t taught it. It hasn’t been taught for a long time. Race mixing is a death penalty offense, or as John wrote it “a sin unto death”. Why is race mixing wrong? Because it gives the strength of one’s heritage to strangers, to another people. The Kingdom will not be left to other people.
Daniel 2:44c "and the kingdom shall not be left to other people".
The churches have been in the forefront of this sin because of false doctrine. It is very important that we know who are truly God’s chosen Israel and who are God’s enemies.
It is the world that is upside down, not the Kingdom of God. The modern day Jews hate Christ, they are anti-Christ. The Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Scandinavian, Celtic and kindred peoples are true physical Israel. It is these who have, for the most part, heard Christ’s voice and followed Christ for almost two thousand years.
