The bible teaches some truths that apply to God’s people. All of this was logically accepted truth many years ago. The fact that it even needs to be discussed is a sorry reflection on our current society. The fact that people argue with you and deny the facts when presented with clear scripture is a stain on the preachers who speak lies to their congregations.
Jeremiah 13:23 “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.”
Romans 9:17 “For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.”
Could Pharaoh have been saved? Did God give him the opportunity? Scripture says that Pharaoh hardened his heart, but Scripture also says that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart.
Romans 9:21 “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?”
The scripture twice says that God hates Esau, Malachi 1:3 and Romans 9:13. It also says that God would have continual warfare with Esau’s children. Genesis 36 twice says Esau is Edom. “Edom is in modern Jewry” is a quote from the Jewish Encyclopedia. So among today’s Jews is the forever enemy of God and Christians.
There are several instances in the scripture where God told Israel to totally destroy an entire city or people leaving no one alive. None of them were offered salvation. In Ezra and Nehemiah, Israel sent away the mixed multitude and their wives and children who were foreigners. No one tried to convert them or just divorce them. Divorce is only valid for marriages recognized by God.
Ezra 9:1-2 “Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.”
Nehemiah 13:3 “Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.”
Have any of you ever asked what Law in scripture requires the separation of other people? Many say, Oh, no they were sent away because of religion, not that they were foreign or mixed peoples. Scripture makes a point to show that these were foreign or mixed people and never mentions their religion. If it were only a religious issue then why was there no effort to convert or simply divorce these people?
Thou shall not commit adultery. Exodus 20:14
The Hebrew and Greek words translated adultery mean, to adulterate, to mix, to miscegenate.
In John 8 there were some Judeans who believed Christ and others who did not. Christ told the ones who believed that the truth would make them free. The ones who did not believe said,
John 8:33 “We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?”
From this we know that they were not Israelites, but the forever enemy of God, the Edomites. All Israelites had been in bondage many times, but the Edomites had not. Christ also said to them
John 8:47 “He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.”
There was no attempt to convert them. There was no attempt to convert Pilot nor Herod for that matter. The reason is simple. They were not Israelites. They were not sheep. One must only use scripture’s definitions for words. Scripture defines sheep as Israelites.
Christ said, John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”
John 10: 26-27 “But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”.
By the way in John 10:16 Christ referenced the other sheep (Israelites) of the Ten Tribes.
John 10:16 “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
This was fulfilled in Ephesians chapter 2. It is very important in understanding scripture to know about the two separate Houses (Nations), the House of Judah and the House of Israel. The Nations (Gentiles) of Ephesians 2:11 were of the ten tribes as Paul showed in Romans 9:24-26. It is there that Paul connected the dots of Nations (Gentiles) to the “Not a People” of Hosea 1. He also showed these same people in Romans 2:14-15 with the Law of God written on their hearts. According to Jeremiah 31:31-33 and Hebrews 8:8-10 only Israelites have the Law of God written on their hearts. Reading Hosea further tells one that those “Not a People” along with the House of Judah would be Christians under Christ. All of this has happened.
The Greek word translated nation is ethnos. It is where we get our English word ethnicity and ethnic. The word nation is a single ethnicity sharing a common heritage, language, religion and social custom.
So many here say, that was for the Jews. We Christians are adopted in. Why do you believe the Jews are Israelites? Do they behave as Israelites? Scripture says that the true physical Israelites would take the light of the gospel to the world. Have they ever done that? Don’t believe they’re Israel just because they say so. Believe the scripture only. The modern day Jews are not Israelites. Scripture proves that in over one hundred prophecies about Israel.
There is no spiritual adoption in scripture. To believe so makes Paul and thus God who inspired Paul to write liars.
Romans 9:4 “Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises”.
Do you believe what Paul said here or the world? Scripture is true and every man a liar. Find the people who have taken the scripture to the world for the last almost 2000 years and you will have found true physical Israel.
Yes, many of us came from different countries such as England, Ireland, Germany, the Scandinavians and related peoples. All of those countries had a common heritage as God’s people. There is well documented history on both the Jewish people and true Israel. It is just not taught in today’s politically correct churches.
So now the last question. What about all the other people? The answer is I don’t know. Scripture doesn’t really say very much about them when you ignore all the supposed verses that are used to teach the God loves everyone and everyone can be saved untruths. Articles have already been written here dealing with some of those verses, but here is one article written from those. Read that and be amazed as I was concerning what the Hebrew and Greek scriptures actually teach.
From the time of Jacob/Israel to the end of Revelation scripture is only concerned about one people, true Israel.
