There are different levels of sin in scripture.
1 John 5:16 “If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.”
A “sin leading to death” is the same as a death penalty sin in the old testament. Rape is an example of a death penalty sin. The penalty is for the one who committed the rape, not the one who was raped. Islam blames the victim. Stealing a car requires repayment, not the loss of a hand. God’s Law is for protection and good health. Yahweh God’s Law does not punish the victim.
