A lot has been written and even movies made showing the importance of every word in the bible and that there can be hidden meaning. At the same time many things that are not hidden are not understood or ignored. Many have been taught to ignore the Bible’s own definition for terms.
Romans 1:6 “Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ”.
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
In Romans 1:6 and 8:28 is the phrase “The Called” It is a specific people. The Bible defines that phrase in Isaiah 48:12.
“Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.”
Romans 8:28 is specifically about Israel and only Israel.
