The scripture says that if you obey the Law you will live by it.
Ezekiel 20:11 “And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.”
Some have tried to suggest that it means that you can not live by following it because no one can obey all of it. This is not the intent.
The idea is to live as opposed to dying by not obeying the Law.
Ezekiel 20:25 “Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live”.
Christ tied this to Loving Christ.
John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
Obeying the Law as Christ said is twice connected to faith in Christ. Basically if you refuse to obey God’s Law, you have no faith in Christ.
Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
