Matthew 13:44 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in the field, which a man found, and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.”
It is commonly taught that Christ came to save the entire world.
Matthew 15:24 “I have not been sent except to the put away and punished sheep of the house of Israel!”
In Matthew 13:44 Christ is the man who found his peculiar or special treasure hidden in the world. He re-hid His treasure. The identity of his special people is mostly not known even today. Christ then purchased the world with his death. What was the special treasure?
Exodus 19:5 “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine”.
Deuteronomy 7:6 “For thou art an holy people unto Yahweh thy God: Yahweh thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.”
Deuteronomy 14:2 “For thou art an holy people unto Yahweh thy God, and Yahweh hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.”
Deuteronomy 26:18 “And Yahweh hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou should keep all his commandments”.
Psalm 135:4 “For Yah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.”
Titus 2:14 “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”.
The special treasure is still hidden in the world and because of an impostor many are deceived as to who is the special kingdom of heaven treasure of Yahweh.
